Welcome to I Learned to Read. These terms govern your use of the program. Please read them carefully — they're written in plain language so you know exactly what to expect.
1. Acceptance of Terms
•By creating an account or using I Learned to Read, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the program.
•If you are a parent or guardian registering on behalf of a minor, you accept these terms on their behalf and are responsible for their use of the program.
2. Access & Availability
•I Learned to Read is a paid subscription: $9.97/month for your whole family (regularly $29.97). Your subscription unlocks full access to the entire program.
•We may change pricing or access terms in the future, with reasonable notice provided through the app or by email before any changes take effect.
3. Promo Codes & Free Access
•Promo codes grant access for a set duration as specified on the code. Promo codes are limited and may expire or reach their usage limit.
•Each promo code may only be redeemed once per user account. Attempting to abuse or share codes may result in revocation of access.
4. Your Account
•You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
•You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your account information up to date.
•Sharing your account login with others outside your household is not permitted and may result in suspension.
5. Acceptable Use
•You agree not to copy, redistribute, download, or republish the curriculum content, lessons, books, workbooks, or any other materials from the program.
•You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise access the platform in ways not intended by the normal user interface.
•All content within I Learned to Read — including lessons, stories, books, workbooks, and instructional materials — is copyrighted and may not be reproduced without permission.
6. Educational Disclaimer
•I Learned to Read is an educational program based on structured phonics and the Science of Reading. Individual results vary based on the learner's starting point, consistency, and effort.
•We make no guarantee of specific reading-level outcomes. The program is a learning tool, not a replacement for professional educational or medical evaluation.
•If your child has a diagnosed learning difference, we encourage consulting with their specialist about how this program fits their needs.
7. Scholarship Fund
•The Denise Abrams Scholarship Fund is a privately administered educational initiative and is not a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
•Enrollment-based contributions to the fund do not constitute tax-deductible charitable donations.
•Disbursement of scholarship funds is based on availability and committee approval. Submission of an application does not guarantee support.
8. Termination
•We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or if an account is used fraudulently.
•You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, access remains until the end of the current billing period.
9. Limitation of Liability
•I Learned to Read is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the program.
•Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid in the three months preceding any claim.
10. Changes to Terms
•We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
